The Podcast Kid
This podcast is neat because it is created by a father and his 5 year old daughter. Under each podcast there are a few questions to discuss or think about. The podcasts are geared towards children ages 3-13, and deal with real life issues, fears, or topics that children may face. I listened to a few of them and thought they may be fun to introduce to a class before having students create their own podcast. It also is a good podcast to link to my "final project" I am working on. (Lisa)

I really like Story Corps from NPR. I'm not sure if this is true, but my husband says they put a little mobile sound-proof booth in cities and people come and record their life's stories. They are usually really good and I have friends who teach at my district's high school who use them as "hooks" for their lessons.
Kerri's Podcasts:
I thought this podcast would be great to use in the beginning of the year when we start counting in Math. It's great review for the students.
I read this story as part of a phonics lesson I teach in first grade. Melissa's Podcasts
For my podcast, I don't necessarily like this but I thought it would go well with by unit topic on the American Civil War. This is a podcast about the life of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, a famous Confederate General.
